Just yesterday, a new discovery on Venus was announced. “Traces of a rare molecule known as phosphine have been found in the hellish, heavily acidic atmosphere of Venus, astronomers announced Monday — providing a tantalizing clue about the possibility of life” — Bill Harwood, CBS News
More research must be done, but NASA is now turning their attention to Venus, the only feminine planet out of the 9 major planets in our solar system.
“Venus has been ignored by NASA for so long. It’s really a shame.” — Sarah Stewart Johnson, planetary Scientist
“It’s time to prioritize Venus.” — Jim Bridenstine, NASA
This discovery comes perfectly timed with Uranus in Taurus squaring Venus in Leo. Uranus is known to shake things up, and as a revolutionary, he’s bringing big awareness to the feminine, in this case, Venus.
You could replace “Divine Feminine” with Venus and these statements would be just as true… the Divine Feminine has been ignored for so long, it’s time to prioritize the feminine.
What is the feminine exactly?
The feminine is our life force energy — creative, wild, erotic, intuitive, it’s the full spectrum of emotions, everything that makes us feel alive. Female or male, it doesn’t matter, we all have feminine energy.
For so long the feminine has been deemed as evil, has been repressed, silenced, put to death (both literally and figuratively), labeled as crazy, too much, too wild, something to be tamed.
Well, the feminine is back from her underground hideout, and she wants to be heard. She has things to say. She wants us to wake up, fully, all of the time. Not just in those fleeting moments of bliss, when we’re in a beautiful place in nature, or listening to our favorite song, or making love, but to be fully alive in every waking moment. To remember the power the feminine holds, the amount of sheer joy and ecstasy that has the potential to pour through us.
By denying the feminine, you’re denying yourself. You are literally living life half alive. Sure you can be happy, create a beautiful life, you can even experience higher states of consciousness. But without the feminine, the fullness of life is always just out of reach.
This week we also have a new moon in Virgo. Virgo is a mutable sign, liable to change. It’s Venus saying, “you were pretty sure there there was no life here, but guess what? Everything’s changed!” Mutable energy, like the feminine, is ever-changing, adaptive, flowing and shifting.
This new moon is a reminder that it’s time to fasten your seatbelt and get on the ride (if you’re not already on it), instead of trying to stop the ride from twisting and turning. Because this ride is not stopping, the twists and turns are coming whether you like it or not. So you have two choices, throw your hands in the air and scream with excitement, or tense up, shut down, and hope it’s all over soon. Sure it’s not easy to let go, to throw your hands in the air and feel the free fall, but in the surrender comes a bliss and sense of calm that allows you to withstand the chaos. The twists and turns actually become enjoyable.
As I write this, sitting outside, I look across the street to see a little boy taking out the trash. Super animated, very theatrical, and I smile. The bag splits, he drops two jars, and chases them down the driveway. All the while not losing his dramatic edge. The trash finally makes it into the bin, and all the way up the driveway into the house, he does a little dance. That, my friends, is how all experinces in life should be. Full of life, joy, and the playful innocence of that little boy bouncing with joy, taking out the trash.
The new moon occurs on September 17, 2020 at 7:00 AM EDT
